Deceased characters are often brought back to life on Days of our Lives, however, sometimes they’re brought back for lone fantasy episodes. Chrishell Stause is set to reprise her role as DAYS Jordan, but is it for one episode or a longer stay?
Chrishell Stause Returns to Days of our Lives
Soaps reports that Stause is headed back to Salem the week of May 24. Her character of Jordan was killed off when DAYS did its much-publicized “time jump” storyline back in 2019. At first, it appeared as if Jordan’s brother Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) was responsible for her death, but it turned out that Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly), the father of Jordan’s son David, was the culprit.
Stause last appeared as a vision on DAYS in July 2020 just before Ben’s wedding to Ciara (Victoria Konefal). Ben’s been in a bad place for a while. First, he was devasted when Ciara went missing and was presumed dead. Ciara later turned up alive, however, she was suffering from memory loss. She left town with Theo (Cameron Johnson), breaking Ben’s heart in the process.
Needless to say, Ben could use some support right now, and Jordan may just be the one to give it to him! While DAYS has often brought characters back from that great soap in the sky (Marlena played by Deidre Hall, Hope played by Kristian Alfonso, and Roman played by Wayne Northrop), it has also nailed the coffin lid shut on many characters and Jordan may be one of those.
There’s always the chance that the writers could bring Stause back as Jordan’s twin or a look-alike if it opted to go the route of not fully resurrecting her. Our guess is that given Ben’s emotional state, we’ll be seeing Jordan appear as some kind of spirit or figment of his imagination.
Since exiting DAYS, Stause has appeared on Dancing With the Stars and she continues to appear on the real estate reality series Selling Sunset, which streams on Netflix. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
