She’s been flying solo for months on Days of Our Lives since Lucas left town, but things are about to dramatically change for Chloe when she suddenly gets involved with Stefan.
“Stefan comes into the picture out of nowhere ,” reveals Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe). “It’s totally out of left field…a very fast odd transition, but it’s really fun.”
Sins of the Past
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) was initially drawn into Chloe’s life drama when he stopped by Doug’s Place and the pair shared a drink and some conversation.
Later, Chloe decided to open some mail and was stunned to find a package containing a letter and a bloody knife. She immediately realized it has something to do with El Fideo, the drug lord she killed in self defense, and feared her life was in grave danger.
Moments later that danger becomes a reality, when two thugs burst into Doug’s Place. “They’re members of the Mexican drug cartel, and they’re there to murder Chloe,” recounts Bjorlin. “Luckily, Stefan happens to be there, and he basically saves her life.”
Stefan’s rescue effort “starts things off between the two of them,” continues Bjorlin. “Afterwards, he’s like, ‘I’m the only person capable of taking care of you and protecting you, so I’m going to protect you.’”
A Safe House
Of course, Chloe’s loving ex, Brady (Eric Martsolf) has something to say about it. He thinks he can protect Chloe, too.
So Chloe’s faced with a choice when both Brady and Stefan offer her a place to stay. “It’s a bit of a triangle, because they both want to take care of her,” says Bjorlin.
