Cast Your Vote: Will Jack Win the Days Of Our Lives Election?

On Days Of Our Lives, Jack has amnesia! Jack is married to Eve! Jack is running for mayor! Jack is a very, very busy boy.

We’re not sure when the Salem election is scheduled for. Salem — and Port Charles — seem to run on a different civic schedule from the rest of the country. But, we do want to know: Do you think Jack will win? Here’s how over 8,000 pundits cast their votes:

Nope, 83% of you predict. Let’s face it, incumbents always have the advantage. And it would seem that Abe (James Reynolds) is made of Teflon. His office hands over delicate information to a suspect who then destroys it and ruins the prosecution’s case — and everyone has a good laugh about it.

Mexican drug cartels move freely throughout the town, attacking citizens, children get kidnapped right and left, and the police chief has a tendency to frame people whom she doesn’t like dating her daughter.

Also, we know absolutely nothing about the test scores of Salem schools, what their homeless program looks like, or whether garbage is picked up regularly. But, it doesn’t matter. Abe is a nice guy. So he’s going to win. And Jack is going to lose.

Vote Him In
Jack will win, a tiny  17% continue to insist. He’s the only one actually talking about the issues, while Abe expects to coast back into office on sheer likability — and avoiding saying anything controversial.

Who knew immigration was such a hot topic in a sleepy Midwestern town? Jack and Eve appear to have hit a nerve. People are listening to them, and the vote is bound to go their way.

Plus, it’s not like Jack has anything better to do. Until he remembers his love for Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), he might as well kill time being mayor.
