The Days of Our Lives Bromance We Never Knew We Needed

Paul Telfer and John-Paul Lavoisier made perhaps one of the funniest BTS videos ever as the two were lock-step in everything they did.

No one ever believed it was possible, but brothers Xander and Philip are working together harmoniously as Titan’s co-CEOs on Days of Our Lives. The reason for that is that Sarah and Stephanie have kept secret that a letter by the late Victor stating he wanted Philip to run the company was forged. Since Xander believed its veracity, he agreed to work with his brother rather than kill him, and they’ve since successfully taken over DiMera Enterprises. To illustrate how well they work together, Paul Telfer and John-Paul Lavoisier made a fun video that must be seen to be believed.

It Takes Two

On Instagram, Telfer and the show’s official page posted, “Two Kiriakises, one job… because teamwork makes the dream ‘barely’ work. 🤭.” Along with that was perhaps one of the funniest behind-the-scenes videos to come along in quite a while.

It starts with a text overlay that states, “Two men. One job,” and the first shot is of both of them answering an office phone at the same time. The video was set to the quirky and upbeat tune Better Off Alone (UK Short Cut) by Alice Deejay and set the tone perfectly.

The clip went on to show various ways in which the two were not only in lock-step but doing everything together, including Telfer holding a sandwich for Lavoisier to bite into, Lavoisier quickly putting a tissue up to a sneezing Telfer’s face, them both signing a paper using one pen, and Telfer hilariously holding a toothbrush while Lavoisier puts his teeth against the bristles and moves his head left and right (With Telfer being the one to spit out the toothpaste).

Silly Is As Silly Does

The two even do other things for each other, such as opening doors, tying one another’s shows, reading a book, and flushing the toilet. In one particularly hilarious segment, Lavoisier is sitting on Telfer’s shoulders as he adjusts Victor’s portrait. His coat draped over Telfer’s face, who casually pulls it aside to look at the camera.

The number of responses was incredible, and many castmates enjoyed the humor. Greg Rikaart (Leo) wrote, “No notes. 💥,” meaning that he didn’t need to give them any acting feedback. Telfer responded, “[Greg Rikaart] remind me to show you the outtakes!” with Rikaart eagerly replying, “‼️”

Thaao Penghlis (Tony) commented, “Just wonderful. And Paul doesn’t say a word. A miracle.” Telfer hysterically replied, “[Thaao Penghlis] first time for everything…”
