They’re at it again. Those folks out there who have nothing better to do with their time than try to fool people into thinking they’re famous stars. This time, they’ve targeted fans of Peter Reckell, who fans can’t wait to see return to their screens as Bo Brady in the second installment of Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem.
Peter Reckell Has A Warning
It certainly isn’t his first time having to deal with this and it probably won’t be his last, but Reckell definitely wants his fans to know what’s going on. So he let them know the truth in the easiest, quickest way possible — a tweet from his official Twitter account. But first, he had to share his joy about something else!
“So excited about next week! Hope you can join in,” he wrote, referring to his appearing in Beyond Salem on peacock. “On another note, there are Facebook impersonators out there, so be careful who you talk to. I never ask for money or to meet anyone. Hope you had a safe 4th of July.”
When a Twitter user let him know she had already reported two of them, he retweeted her saying so and added, “Thanks! Again, I don’t ask for anything from fans, except to enjoy the show. ‘Peter Reckell privacy’ is not my Facebook page.”
Needless to say, he received many replies in response, sharing their outrage that he has to go through this again but also their tremendous excitement at getting to see him again onscreen next week. To watch Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem, viewers will require a peacock premium subscription. You can check out a sneak preview here.
