After the Devil abandoned Marlena Evans Black, his favorite host body, on Days of our Lives, he moved into her grandson, Johnny DiMera. It was a chance for a fresh start to wreak havoc for the Devil.

Days of our Lives Polling

So far, Johnny (Carson Boatman) has dumped brand-new wife, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowers), and conned his father into signing over the family company – not to mention put some really creepy moves on Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller). Will Johnny find the strength to cast off the Dark Prince? Over 2,000 voters weighed in on the prospect:

DOOL: Help Wanted

Marlena (Deidre Hall) didn’t do it alone, and neither can Johnny, 61% of the audience advises. He’s going to need the same help and support as his grandma, and that can’t happen until other people realize what’s going on.

Unfortunately, Johnny was such an entitled brat when he first returned to Salem that it’s difficult to separate his obnoxious behavior now from who he was before. And if nobody notices that he’s possessed, then nobody will be there to lend him a helping, exorcist’s hand.

Perfect Days of our Lives Fit

Who is more likely to be a minion of the Devil than the offspring of Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel)? Johnny is just becoming exactly who his genetics programmed him to be.

It’s amazing that Sami and EJ caused all the trouble they did WITHOUT being possessed by the Devil. Johnny is obviously not in their league, which is why he needs this outside help. It’s a match made in…Hell, 20% say.

DAYS: Good Boy

Then again, 19% of you actually believe that Johnny is a good boy with a good heart. (Maybe he gets that from Grandmas Marlena and Susan Banks [Stacy Haiduk].) He won’t want to continue being possessed by the Devil, hurting people like Chanel and his dad, so he will fight off the evil influence and revert back to just being rich and entitled, not actually evil.
