Sure, she gets off a good one-liner every once in a while, but does that mean we’re supposed to forget all her crimes.

From kidnapping Carly’s son, Nicholas, then trying to cover it up by stuffing Carly (Crystal Chappell) in a coffin, to stealing Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Victor’s (John Aniston) embryo (that turned into Phillip), to her latest stunts with Stefan (Tyler Christopher) and Andre (Thaao Penghlis).

This is a woman who should have been killed – or, at least, driven out of town – decades ago. When Kate shot her, you sang a couple of rounds of “Ding, Dong, The Witch Is Dead” and figured your suffering was over. No such luck….

Salem is nothing by dull, dull, dull when Vivian isn’t around, 35% of the audience laments. Which means you’re ecstatic to learn that reports of her death were greatly exaggerated.

This newest phase of her life, as mother to yet another of Stefano’s (Joseph Mascolo) illegitimate children, is the most fun yet.

Now Vivian has a shot at some real power – and maybe even real love from her son, as well. Just think of the havoc she can wreak now. And the more bad Vivian is, the more good DAYS is! You all can’t wait for her triumphant return!
