Allie and Tripp didn’t exactly have what anyone would call a meet-cute on Days of our Lives. The first time they met, she was drunk out of her mind and Tripp had to practically carry her home and tuck her into bed. The second time, she accused him of raping her that night and fathering her son.

The more Tripp (Lucas Adams) denies, the more Allie (Lindsay Arnold) insisted she was absolutely sure he was the one – despite not being able to remember much else from that evening. Every member of her family lined up to yell at Tripp, and some even took a punch at him. (Allie herself, waved a gun around.)

And then it turned out Allie was mistaken. Oops. My bad. Nothing personal, you know? After a start like that, could these two crazy kids ever be a real love match? What over 4,000 fans told us!

Bygones!

Oh, yeah, 67% of the audience feels confident it’s a definite possibility. Now that Allie knows the truth – it was Charlie (Mike Manning), not Tripp who raped her – everything is fine. She forgives him for the mistake she made and for what she put him through. She can freely move forward with a clean slate. If she wants to have a romantic relationship with Tripp now, it’s completely up to her. Everything will be fine.

The Other Side

Does Tripp get any say in the matter, 33% of you wonder? Allie may assume everything is good now but is Tripp allowed to have any feelings about the little misunderstanding between them? Allie called him a rapist. It got so that even Tripp’s stepmother, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) had her doubts, and it seriously affected their relationship.
