Arianne Zucker Brings You The Secret Behind Dr. Rolf’s Mask

All heck broke loose on Days of Our Lives last week as John removed the infamous Nicole mask to reveal Kristen underneath. Now, Arianne Zucker has revealed exactly what went into making that infamous stage prop.

Zucker took to Instagram to show the different steps that went into making the mask — which couldn’t have been easy as the actress certainly had to sit in the makeup chair a lot longer than usual. Not only that, she had to endure all of that goop on her face. But, it was certainly for a great cause as the finished product was something to behold!

“Well, now that everyone in Salem finally knows the truth about Kristen/Nicole #StariEyes here’s how it started! Thanks to the brilliant @stevelaporte_facemaker That’s me FYI! @nbcdays @dishindays @stacy_haiduk”

In the story, this was an invention by Dr. Rolf that Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) somehow was able to create, allowing her the one way she could return to Salem without being arrested. After all, she had to win back the man she loves — Brady (Eric Martsolf). Yet, playing the part of his ex-lover to do so didn’t seem to bother the DiMera sibling.

While that may have seemed to be the end of the line for Zucker’s screen time since Nicole was supposedly killed in the fire, there will be good news shared this week which of course means we should be seeing Zucker onscreen as Original Recipe Nicole very soon.

And when we do, things are going to get awfully complicated for Nicole’s true love, Eric (Greg Vaughan), who has in the meantime started a relationship with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). Does this spell the end of that relationship or will it turn out that Eric really has moved on past his feelings for Nicole? Stay tuned.
