The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, August 26 features Billy chewing gum to ill effect, while Michael explained what he had planned for Kevin and Chloe, Victor warned his family to beware, and Adam got a new (old) ally.
It’s All Over
Michael (Christian LeBlanc) announced that the reason he had Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) arrested was so that, as the new District Attorney, he could drop all charges and set Chloe free due to temporary insanity.
Isn’t it nice to have friends in high places!? Michael warned them to stay away from Adam but, technically, Adam didn’t have anything to hold over Chloe and Kevin’s heads anymore.
Chloe and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) reunited with Esther (Kate Linder) and Bella. Billy (Jason Thompson) stopped by and thought he hears Delia. He then chewed gum, which Victoria (Amelia Heinle) found disturbing earlier.
Victor (Eric Braeden) held a meeting to announce to his children that Adam (Mark Grossman) was out to destroy them all. An uninvited Adam dropped by and handed Nick (Joshua Morrow) papers giving up custody of Christian.
He’s doing what’s best for his son. But, oh, he still intended to destroy the rest of the Newmans and expose what hypocrites they all are. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) noticed how exhausted Victor looked after the showdown.
Back home, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) offered to help Adam in his quest. They agreed that they don’t trust each other, but, sure, why not?
Meanwhile, Back At The Ranch…
Nate (Sean Dominic) arrived to pick up Elena (Brytni Sarpy) for her first day of work, leaving her no time for the fancy breakfast Devon (Bryton James) made her. They discussed work and Nate’s status with Abby (Melissa Ordway). Nate brought Elena home, where she and Devon had sex. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
