Days of our Lives is well known for having some of the loveliest ladies in daytime. From heroes to villains and everything in between, there is something (err, someone) for everyone. Today we pay tribute to Salem’s finest of the fine.
From the classic Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) keeping fans tuning in for decades to the Brady family gals having us on the edge of our seats, the show knows how to keep us coming back.
We have to give credit where it’s due and honor baddies Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) for having us fall in love even after all the terrible things they did. Nothing like a good redemption story to keep the heart pumping.
With the bad also comes to the good, and we have to hand it to sweethearts Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers), and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal).

Days of our Lives History
DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
Soap Opera History
More than fifty of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this NBC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB).
