- That accent Scott presented in Salem was the real deal, as the actor was born in Jesmond, New Castle on Tyne, England.
- Scott is a true UK guy, as his mother was Scottish and he spent much time in Scotland as a child and young adult. It is actually where he found his love for acting at The Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival.
- Scott realized London was the place to be if he wanted an acting career and moved there after a summer in Scotland. After a few weeks in London, Scott already had a modeling contract.
- As a model, Scott worked with such well-known names as Kate Moss and Elle McPherson, but soon decided he needed true acting training and studied for two years at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
- Still, it was modeling that brought the actor to the United States and Los Angeles, and he has remained in the States ever since. When Scott hit L.A., he realized this was exactly where he had to be to have a true acting career.
- Scott did spend some time outside L.A. when he made his way to the East Coast to spend two years on All My Children where he played Ethan Cambias. That role lasted from 2004 to 2006.
- When his Pine Valley role ended, Scott made his way back to sunny L.A. and was quickly cast as playboy E.J. DiMera, aka Elvis.
- Scott quickly gained popularity in Salem, even though he was not one of the good guys. Playing a shirtless bad guy made Scott a Days favorite, even when he was manipulating and marrying Sami over and over again.
- Fans were crushed when Scott announced his departure from Days in 2014. His announcement coincided with Allison Sweeney’s, so E.J. was killed and a devastated Sami left Salem.
- Scott did not waste any time getting new work and quickly shot a pilot called “Wrecked” for cable’s TBS network.
