Jennifer Metcalfe is a British actress who is best known for playing Mercedes McQueen in Hollyoaks, a role she has had for over a decade.

Who Is Jennifer Metcalfe?
She was born on September 4 in Bradford, West Yorkshire and grew up in the area. She started acting when she was just 12 years old and attended the Scala Kids drama school that was located in her town.
Staying Healthy
Though she became interested in acting at a young age, Metcalfe decided to get her degree in Health and Fitness. While she was pursuing an acting career, she also worked as a fitness instructor to pay the bills.

Soap Career
The actress began playing Mercedes McQueen in Hollyoaks in 2006 and played the role until August 2014, when she announced her departure. However, she returned in 2015 and has been on the show ever since, only taking a break when she welcomed her child.
Reality Show Stint
She was cast in the sixth season of Dancing on Ice on December 19, 2010, and was partnered with Sylvain Longchambon. Metcalfe was the seventh person eliminated after finishing in the bottom two, but the judges decided to save Vanilla Ice instead.
Getting Personal With Jennifer Metcalfe
Metcalfe has been in a relationship with Geordie Shore star Greg Lake since 2012. In February 2017, she revealed she was pregnant with their first child and welcomed their son, Daye Colmic, on June 20, 2017.
