Gregory Finnegan is a British actor best known for playing James Nightingale on the soap opera Hollyoaks for the last few years. He also appeared on the soaps EastEnders and Family Affairs.

Who Is Gregory Finnegan?
He was born on June 26 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and studied acting at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. He got his first acting role as Gabriel Brennan on the TV show Is Harry on the Boat? back in 2002, alongside Hollyoaks star Davinia Taylor (ex-Jude).
Soap Career
The actor was cast as Dr. Alex Arnott on EastEnders and has also appeared on shows such as Doctors and Casualty. He was then cast as James Nightingale in Hollyoaks in January of 2016 and has been on the show ever since. James was soon revealed to be the son of Mac Nightingale. Eventually, the show addressed that there was an abuse issue between father and son.
Big Winner
After being on the shortlist for Best Actor at the 2017 British Soap Awards, Finnegan won the British Soap Award for Best Actor in 2019.
Theater Veteran
Along with working in television, Finnegan has also appeared on the stage. He was in productions of Macbeth, Fallen Angels, Romeo and Juliet, The Rat Trap, An Ideal Husband, and The Life of Stuff.
Getting Personal With Gregory Finnegan
He is married to actress Ariana Fraval. She recently appeared on Hollyoaks as investigator DS Cohen, who wants to know his character’s connection to the death of his former lover Harry Thompson. The couple has three children together.
