Longtime The Bold and the Beautiful favorite Todd McKee will be making his way back onto the soap opera L.A. scene next week as everyone’s favorite top tennis pro, Jake MacLaine.
Todd McKee: A Comeback
According to Soaps In Depth, McKee will appear on the November 6 and 7 episodes next week, but why he is returning is being kept under wraps. Will he move story along, or will he be with his old friend, Bill Spencer, who has an affinity for tennis?
When Jake first arrived on the BB canvas way back in 1990, he was introduced as the brother of Margo MacLaine (played by current Days of our Lives star Lauren Koslow). The siblings were estranged, but when Margo learned her brother had been abused as a child, the pair grew closer.
Before his 1990 debut on BB, McKee spent six years on the now-defunct NBC soap Santa Barbara as Ted Capwell, the youngest sibling in the core Capwell family. In fact, when SB first premiered, Ted was still just a high school student.
As Jake, McKee had a number of leading ladies, including Donna, Macy, and Felicia. McKee has been coming and going since the early 2000s. By 2007, he was back working for Forrester Creations and we last saw him in 2016 when he helped Ridge woo Brooke.
Could his return have something do with the Bridge marriage being on the rocks? Stay tuned to find out. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
