Classic daytime drama set in the couture fashion world, The Bold and the Beautiful sets itself apart from other soaps in a cool cultured way. Here are 10 reasons to watch the show right now.

1. Steffy Front and Center

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is finally off the sidelines and shining bright in a front-burner storyline as Steffy. Desperate to cope with the chronic pain she’s been suffering since her motorcycle accident, the single mom has been begging handsome Dr. Finn (Tanner Novlan) for more pain pills. So far, he’s turned her down. As Steffy’s desperation grows, she’ll turn elsewhere to get what she needs.

2. A Real Housewife Indeed

Talk about a curve. The show tossed a shocking one at fans, after Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) latest breakup. He headed to Vegas, got divorced, and ended up marrying sexy Shauna (Denise Richards) during a liquor-fueled night in Sin City. Of course, Quinn orchestrated the whole thing, which no one knows… yet.

3. Quinn’s Bad Side’s Back

Speaking of Quinn, Rena Sofer is getting her groove back. After years of walking the straight and narrow as Eric’s (John McCook) devoted wife, the former bad girl is fixated on bringing down Brooke. To be fair, Brooke set her off, when she ordered Eric to dump Quinn and kick her out of their home. Hell hath no fury like a Quinn scorned, and it’s been fun to watch.

4. Precious Dollar

Is there a character more infuriating, more full of himself, more controlling than Bill Spencer? Probably not, but that’s what makes him so interesting to watch. Don Diamont shines in the role of the wealthy publishing magnate, tossing around orders and attitude on a daily basis.

5. Hope Springs Eternal on The Bold and the Beautiful

Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (Annika Noelle) are together, believe it or not, and living happily ever after with their daughter, Beth, and Hope’s adopted son, Douglas. It’s taken them years and a myriad of obstacles to get to this point of downright bliss, which means it’s only a matter of time before all hell breaks loose.

6. For the Love of Katie

Poor Katie has found herself alone again, after seeing a video she can’t un-see – her husband, Bill, kissing her sister, Brooke. Sadly, it’s not the first time the pair have betrayed her. While she’s tossed Bill out of their home and seems determined to move forward without him, he’ll likely pull out all the stops to try and win her back.

7. Love Overcomes

Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Flo (Katrina Bowden) overcame Sally’s (Courtney Hope) elaborate plot to split them up: pretending she was dying. The high school sweethearts are now happily cohabitating at his beach house and making plans for their future together. It could just be a matter of time before a wedding is in the offing.

8. On The Edge

Matthew Atkinson is back onscreen as the unbalanced and obsessive Thomas. At the moment, he’s a bonafide good guy, lending support to his sister, Steffy. Still, it’s hard to imagine him behaving anything but badly, so just be patient and wait and wait to see what his next scheme will be.

9. From A To Zoe

After getting caught up in Thomas’s last twisted plot to win back Hope, Zoe (Kiara Barnes) has picked up the pieces and moved on. Her career as a Forrester model is thriving, and there’s promise of romance in her future with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) or the soon-to-be returning Zende (Delon de Metz).

10. Producing In A COVID World

It’s worth checking out The Bold and the Beautiful these days, just to see how the soap has been delivering, production-wise, despite all the COVID restrictions. Although co-stars aren’t kissing, there are still plenty of love scenes using actors’ real-life spouses, blow-up dolls, and some intricate splicing and editing techniques. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
