Her character, Flo Fulton, gave a kidney to Katie on The Bold and the Beautiful. Now, Flo’s portrayer, Katrina Bowden, is contemplating making a donation of her own to the brave men and women who are doing their best to keep people alive during the coronavirus crisis.
Katrina Bowden: Caring Creativity
“Tie dye is my new neutral,” said Bowden, decked out in a tie-dye ensemble in an Instagram post. “I’m thinking of doing a giveaway…giving away tie dye shirts made by yours truly (KatrinasGarage®️) to nurses, essential working or anyone who is going through a rough patch and may just need a boost right now. Would you be interested? LMK…”
In the comments section of her post, followers sounded off with their thoughts. @chanel_fly wrote: “Yess I love a Tie Dye always 😍🥂 Great blend and Gosh she is so gorgeous 👑❤️.”
“That’s awesome,” replied @michellewcline. “I work in a nursing home in Kentucky ♥️ me some tie dye. I just bought a pair of shoes.”
“I would be interested for me and I’d love to surprise my DIL who works at Gracedale nursing home where this weekend alone had 3 deaths,” shared @colleen_and_her_life. “The national guard is there helping and to say she is under pressure physically and mostly mentally this wound put a smile on her face for sure 💕.”
“You look 🔥🔥🔥beautiful array of colours,” posted @greek77. “Tie dyes are really nice. That is a lovely, kind gesture of you to do that. I’m sure with all the chaos little colour will brighten anyone feeling little icky. 🙏🙏god bless everyone. I hope light is at the end of this tunnel, stay healthy!!”
Clearly, Bowden’s fans are in favor of her idea. Soap Hub will keep you posted on what the actress decides to do next. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
