The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) recap for Thursday, August 2nd features a fantastic day full of wonderful surprises for the Forrester family.
Panic Mode
Liam (Scott Clifton) stewed believing Steffy married his father. He and Wyatt tried to process how the marriage would change their lives, and affect baby Kelly. Concluding that their dad is toxic and shouldn’t be in any of their lives.
Little did they know, Steffy’s life was headed in a completely different direction.
Taking Control
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) summoned the Forrester Creations executives to the main office to make a few big announcements.
First, FC is back to being a family owned company thanks to her new shares, secondly, she’s relaunching the bedroom line with herself as the main model, and third, she’s a single lady. She’s done with both Liam and Bill and focusing all her attention on her daughter and career.
The news was well received through the ranks and had Eric (John McCook) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) beaming with pride. Steffy has come into her own and is ready to take on the world!
Hope’s Safe, For Now
There was even good news for Hope (Annika Noelle). Not only is Liam officially a free agent, but her clothing line is also safe.

Steffy has huge plans for HFTF and is allowing Hope to keep control (at least for now). It was all music to Hope’s ears and she stole a moment with Steffy to congratulate and thank her.
Jealousy Strikes
In the design room, Emma (Nia Sioux) and Xander (Adain Bradley) stole a few kisses after a discussion about Zoe (Kiara Barnes) stealing the show. Xander put all of Emma’s worries to rest by explaining his feelings for his ex are long gone. Zoe can try all she might but she’ll never have his heart again.
Afterward, Maya (Karla Mosley) confronted Emma about her crush on Xander. She warned Emma to keep on alert. She’s young, naive, and shouldn’t be this serious so fast. Besides, they don’t even know if Zoe’s actually gone for good.
While Maya talked to Emma, Xander headed over to Zoe’s apartment. He wanted to make sure she skips town before causing even more problems for him. Xander put his foot down and made it clear, anything they ever had was over and he doesn’t want her around. However, before he left he made the mistake of hugging her which gave Zoe more hope than ever.
