The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, July 4 features an unforgettable holiday in LA. Hope’s world took another sharp turn when Thomas moved faster than anyone could imagine.
Liam Did What?
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) found out about Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and discussed what that means for all their children. They have to support everyone no matter what from here on out they agreed. Unfortunately, they had no idea what was about to happen next.
Douglas Proposed To Hope
For the second year in a row, Hope (Annika Noelle) will have a 4th of July she will never forget. Last year she won Liam’s heart and announced her pregnancy with Beth. This year, she was presented with a ring from very tiny hands.
Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) plotted every single second and every word of his manipulative next move. Hope is heartbroken and he decided to use her pain, anguish, and anger to make her his wife.
And, he had a foolproof plan to make it happen. He gave Douglas the ring and told him what to say and how to say it. Who can say no to a proposal from the beautiful little boy?
Douglas played his part well. He waited until during the fireworks and told Hope how much he loves her. He then pulled out the ring and asked her to marry his dad and be his new mom!
Stunned Silent
To say Hope was shocked is an understatement. Douglas expressed this sentiment before but not like this. To make things worse, Thomas acted equally as stunned.
Old Memories, New Beginnings
Meanwhile, over at the cliff house, Liam reminisced about this time last year. It was one of the happiest times of his life. His heart ached for Hope and he leaned on Steffy to get through the day. The girls woke up and they turned their attention to the children.
Beth spent her first Independence Day in her father’s arms watching the fireworks. It’s just too bad she wasn’t with her mother too. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
