The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, August 18, 2020, features Ridge trying to fix his life, Shauna feeling uncertain about her scheme, and Thomas showing his true colors.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
Quinn (Rena Sofer) stood her ground with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). She was thrilled that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was married to Shauna (Denise Richards), and that Brooke was out of the way. Brooke accused her of manipulating the whole situation. Quinn denied it with a huge smile on her face.
Shauna showed up at the office and was shocked to see Brooke. (Really, Shauna, you go to her place of work and you’re surprised to find her there?) The ladies promptly got into a tense confrontation. Brooke called Shauna out on her bad behavior. How dare she?
Shauna Wavered
Brooke stormed out after promising to fight, then went home. Quinn cackled at Brooke’s tantrum, assuring her bestie that all was well. Shauna’s guilt skyrocketed, though: They were responsible for all of this. She filed the divorce papers, not Ridge. Then she got her buddy to marry them, even though Ridge was drunk. If he had been sober, none of this would be happening.
Ridge Wanted Out
As for Ridge himself, he got a stern talking-to from Eric (John McCook). Ridge admitted that he wanted out of his new marriage and back in his old one. He was afraid he already lost Brooke. Eric told him to fight for his soulmate.
Ridge went to the Logan mansion and did just that. He begged for another chance, telling Brooke that he already had the annulment papers drawn up. She was the only woman for him.
Thomas Started His Games
Speaking of soulmates, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) thought Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) lost love was the reason that she was still in so much pain. How could she recover while pining for Liam (Scott Clifton) and watching him make a family with another woman?
Steffy called the whole scenario ridiculous. She was in pain because of the accident, not because of her ex. They started arguing, which only caused Steffy more distress, and she doubled over. Thomas finally dropped the act and begged her to call the doctor. It was obvious that the over-the-counter medicine wasn’t working. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS.
