The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, October 1, 2020, features Quinn rushing Ridge down the aisle, Brooke going ballistic, and Carter getting a massive promotion.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
Quinn (Rena Sofer) was beside herself with excitement over the rushed redo wedding. She did not care Shauna (Denise Richards) was not really on board. Shauna thought it was time they come clean and take their lumps, but Quinn shut her down. They were on the verge of winning the war.
This Can’t Be Happening
Eric (John McCook) was stunned to hear about the ceremony, as Quinn all but demanded his support. If this was what Ridge wants, this is what Ridge gets. Eric promised to keep the martinis flowing. But, that was just a show. He went to the office for a word with his son.
Ridge also got an earful from Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). She was floored and tried to fight back. Why would Ridge do this? Brooke tried to make Ridge see the light but he was not having it.

Congratulations, Carter!
Brooke stormed off and Ridge called Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) in. Carter had just finished voicing his concerns to Zoe (Kiara Barnes) and said all the same to Ridge. Was he sure Shauna was the right woman for him? Yes, he was. So much so, he asked Carter to officiate the new nuptials.
Then, Ridge made Carter’s day. Ridge commended Carter for his years of service. He would no longer be the Forrester Lead Counsel. Instead, he was promoted to COO! Carter was thrilled. He ran back into the design office to tell Zoe and they began to celebrate.
Dire Warnings
Once Carter was out of the room, Eric got to work. He begged Ridge to see the light. His heart and soul belongs to Brooke, not Shauna. He asked Ridge to take a step back and really think before he walked down the aisle.
Meanwhile, Brooke stormed the mansion to have it out with Quinn. Brooke tried to keep her cool but Quinn pushed every button she could. Quinn made it clear the wedding was happening and Brooke’s hold on the Forresters would soon come to an end. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS.
