The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, February 4 features two mothers bonding over ‘their’ daughter.
Runaway Reese!
His debt was paid, the baby deal was completed, and Reese (Wayne Brady) was taking his leave. He decided to head back to London and away from any fallout or drama.
Poor Zoe (Kiara Barnes) bid a tearful farewell to her pop. He barely got settled in and she’s losing him again. To make things worse, he kept mentioning how it was better for Zoe if he wasn’t around.
His statement was enough to put her on alert, but was it enough to push her into investigation mode?
Taylor (Hunter Tylo) was also quite shocked by the doctor’s abrupt exit. She already had a busy morning discussing the new baby with Ridge and Brooke and then she said goodbye to her new bestie. Reese gave them Phoebe and she couldn’t be more thankful.

The Ties That Bind
Over at the Cliff house, Hope (Annika Noelle) had a chance to get to know her daughter. Holding “Phoebe” gave Hope an overwhelming sense of peace. This child was meant to be part of their world.
Sadly, Hope did not recognize Beth as her own. She did see the resemblance between Kelly and “Phoebe” and even remarked on how well she fit in.
Later, back at the cabin, Hope relived how it felt to cuddle Steffy’s new daughter. She wanted to close her eyes and pretend she was their Beth. The newborn fit so well in her arms and she felt a natural connection.
All Hope wanted was to be a mother but it’s just not meant to be – at least not yet. For now, she vowed to play her auntie role and make life as good as she could for Steffy’s two girls.
