As Brooke, Katherine Kelly Lang has been stuck on an island on The Bold and the Beautiful. Now, the actress is headed for the jungle in South Africa as a participant in the Australian reality competition show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Lang’s one of two competitors from the United States on the show. The other is Richard Reed, a former Today correspondent.
Other contestants in the show include Australian stars Jastin Lacko (Love Island), Justine Schofield (Host, Everyday Gourmet), and Dermott Hugh Brereton (Australian Football League).
The program takes celebrities and puts them in the jungle with few modern day comforts and viewers see them compete in certain challenges to earn bonuses like meals and other prizes. Stars compete for $100,000, which go to charitable organizations. Lang’s charity is Breakaway from Cancer.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Lang has pre-taped scenes in which Brooke will appear in so her absence won’t be noticeable on-screen.
