In this retro Bold and the Beautiful recap, originally penned by Amber Sinclair, it’s July 12, 2019, and Thomas Forrester, who’s all kinds of awful because this is pre-redemption, is about to weaponize his son in a fiendish attempt to manipulate Hope Logan (as she was then known).

Bold and the Beautiful Retro Recap Highlights

Hope (Annika Noelle) joined Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) at the main house and told Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) the good news together. Needless to say, Douglas was elated to hear that “Mommy” and Daddy were planning on getting hitched. Remember, this was before the wee one was wise to Thomas’s *ahem* problems.

B&B Recap For July 12, 2019: Stay Out Of It

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) laid down some ground rules for his meddling wife. If the kids wanted to get married, let them get married. It was time for her to stand down. As expected, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) did not listen. The second she got Hope alone, she laid into her again. A loveless marriage is no marriage at all. And Brooke should know. She’s been in one…or two. Man, where’s a cliff when you need one?

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap For July 12, 2019: A Nasty Plan

While Brooke tried to save her daughter, Thomas laid a terrifying scene in his son’s room.  He set up a projection screen to show a ghost dancing on the little boy’s wall. When Douglas woke, he was terrified. Apparently, he’d never been introduced to Casper.

Thomas’s plan worked. Douglas was scared, and Hope ran to console Douglas. She decided then and there that they have to push up the wedding. Douglas needs a mother! And he got one. The best news of all? Hope didn’t even have to go through with marrying Thomas. Talk about a win-win!

Bold and the Beautiful Retro Recap

Meanwhile, tensions rose in the design office when Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) — remember when she was on here and not on sister-show Y&R? — caught Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) making out with Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden). The women tried to play nice but Sally had an agenda. She sent Flo to the payroll department to settle some paperwork, but it was clear she wanted a moment alone with Wyatt.

Once the door closed, Sally made her move. Mere months ago she and Wyatt were hot and heavy and she knew all the buttons to push, so she pushed them. They ended up in a sizzling liplock which proved Wyatt was definitely not over his fiery ex. But he is now. Or, at least Flo certainly hopes so. It’s hard to know for sure, seeing as how we never see the two onscreen for a month of Sundays.
