The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, October 17 features an unexpected grand gesture that’ll bring tears to Pam’s eyes!
A Bitter Dinner
A dinner party at the Forrester Mansion started out as quite the awkward affair. Pam (Alley Mills) took every opportunity to take digs at Quinn’s (Rena Sofer) cooking skills (well, lack of skill).
In turn, Quinn boasted about being the lady of the house and how fortunate she has it being Eric’s (John McCook) wife.
While the sniping was expected, Charlie (Dick Christie) was oddly out of sorts. He’s never the most put-together character but he was even stranger during dinner. He was tripping over his words, spilling water, and obviously nervous. But it was for a very good reason.
Sweet Deserts
When Charlie and Pam took to the kitchen to get dessert, the reason for his anxiety was revealed. He surprised her with a stunning diamond ring hidden in her lemon bars.
Poor Charlie’s proposal didn’t go off without a hitch, though. Instead of Pam finding the ring, she shoved that piece in Charlie’s mouth making for quite an adorable proposal. Of course, she said yes and the two cried tears of joy.
Frantic and Furious
Over at FC, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) wasn’t in such a jolly mood. She faced her daughter’s wrath and suspicion over that kiss with Bill. Hope (Annika Noelle) was appalled by her mother’s betrayal and made her promise to make things right.
Much to Hope’s shock, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) wasn’t as angry as she thought he’d be. In fact, when he got into the office he gave his wife a sultry kiss and promised their marriage was okay – as long as she stays away from Dollar Bill!
Opposite Sides
That Forrester marriage may be on the right track, but Katie (Heather Tom) and Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) ran into some issues. The newlyweds went head to head over the custody case, and things got even tenser after Katie dropped the bomb about Ridge.
She’s sickened by her brother-in-law’s behavior, but Thorne — not so much. Sure, what Ridge did was wrong (sort of), but it was with the best of intentions. Besides, it’s a move Bill would make himself if he had the opportunity.
Let The Games Begin!
Speaking of Bill (Don Diamont), he spent his morning spending time with Will and the afternoon searching for Brooke. He found her at Il Giardino and didn’t even hesitate to pull up a seat at her table.
To her credit, Brooke did try to brush him off but he wasn’t taking no for an answer. He told her again that she’s the love of his life and he plans to get her back for good this time!
