Some of your favorite daytime stars are celebrating birthdays in August. Soap Hub has compiled a list of all the dates, so you can send your favorite actors and actresses your best wishes via Twitter and Instagram. Or you could go the old-school route and mail them an actual card.
Soap Stars Celebrating In August
If you are a Leo (beginning on July 23 – August 22), here are some of your traits. Leo is the fifth sign of the zodiac and is a fire sign symbolized by the Lion. Leos are large and in charge. Loving, creative and theatrical, you will find many performers under the sign of Leo. Ruled by the sun, this sign is lively, fun, generous, and lavish with its affections. Lions are wounded if their generosity or loyalty is not reciprocated.
Leos are natural-born leaders and exude confidence. They despise small-mindedness. Whether it is caring for a magnificent mane or lack thereof, Leos are obsessed with their hair. This sign is well-known for its passionate nature and tenacity in achieving its objectives. Sagittarius, Aries, Aquarius, and Libra are the best matches for this amorous sign.
Negative traits of the Lion are being fixed, rigid, and inflexible at times. They can be vain, haughty, and superficial, often getting caught up in how they are perceived. Lions can be possessive and controlling in love and friendships.
The month kicks off on August 1 with Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan, The Bold and the Beautiful) toasting her special day. She’s turning 52.
It’s double celebration time over at Days of our Lives soap stars on August 2. Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe Lane) turns 42, while Marci Miller (ex-Abigail Deveraux DiMera) turns 33.
On August 3, look for former General Hospital cutie, Scarlett Fernandez (ex-Charlotte Cassadine) to enter her teen years. The young lady is turning 13 years old.
Soaps newcomer Allison Lanier, who plays Summer Newman Abbott on Young and the Restless, celebrates her natal day on August 4. She will be turning 32 years old. Also celebrating that day is DAYS alum Crystal Chappell (ex-Carly Manning); she turns 57, while another alum from the show, Jen Lilley (ex-Theresa Donovan), turns 38.
Meanwhile, a beloved soap alumna, Erika Slezak (ex-Victoria Lord, One Life to Live), has a birthday, too. She turns 76 on August 5. The next day, beloved soap star Louise Sorel (ex-Vivian Alamain, DAYS) turns 82 on August 6.
On August 7, Y&R alum Sasha Calle (ex-Lola Rosales) celebrates her birthday and turns 27 years old. Two days later, B&B alum Joe LoCicero (ex-Vinnie Walker) turns 36.
Another DAYS star will be blowing out cake candles this month as James Reynolds (Abe Carver) turns 76 on August 10.
GH’s Kathleen Gati (Liesl Obrecht) toasts #65 on August 13. That same day Y&R alum Tyler Johnson (ex-Theo Vanderway) turns 36. The following day, August 14, Jackée Harry (Paulina, DAYS) turns 66.
Over at Y&R, Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra) will be raising a glass of bubbly on August 15. The pretty actress turns 33.
Two daytime actors share August 17 as their natal day. Brock Kelly (Christian “Evan” Maddox, DAYS) turns 37, while Bryton James (Devon Hamilton, Y&R) turns 36.

That same day, another Y&R alum, Marla Adams (ex-Dina Mergeron), turns 84, while newly-minted Daytime Emmy winner Kelly Thiebaud (Britt Westbourne, GH) celebrates turning 40 years old.
On August 31, Thiebaud’s GH co-star Johnny Wactor (Brando Corbin) blows out the birthday candles as well.
