On The Young and the Restless, Sally Spectra gave a stirring speech to convince Victoria Newman and Nicholas Newman that she deserved to keep her CEO position at Newman Media. But will she be able to keep it?

Nick (Joshua Morrow) was swayed, and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was over it and just wanted to move on. So they offered Sally (Courtney Hope) a 90-day trial period. Will she rise to the occasion?

Of course, 78% of the audience leans back confidently in the big, important chair. Sally has been training for this ever since she opened her first fashion house back on The Bold and the Beautiful. We don’t know what Newman Media does, but we’ve been told that Sally does it particularly well. So there is no reason why she won’t thrive in her position and turn a temporary appointment into her life’s work.

When Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) broke up with her, Sally quickly figured out that he was only doing it for her sake. He denied it, but Sally hasn’t given up. She called him to repeat that if she had to choose between the job and him, she’d choose him. There is just so long Adam can hold off. If he were to break down and confess, Sally would give up the CEO job in a second. So it’s all up to him, 17% shrug.

Y&R: Nothing Doing
Only 5% of you aren’t buying the way everyone is telling us how great Sally is at big business. She has no experience. She’s never run anything so large on her own, and she’ll be in over her head in no time. This is a doomed venture, and, in the end, despite Adam’s sacrifice, Sally is going to lose everything. And Adam will realize that he did it all for nothing. Epic tragedy to come!
