Kimberlin Brown Shares Sheila Carter’s Secrets
Soap Hub has the highlights of Brown’s Q&A session with her followers. Sheila supporters asked and her portrayer was forthcoming with her responses. Check out what the actress has to say!
Do you like playing Sheila? You are a great actress!!
Kimberlin Brown: I absolutely love playing Sheila. She truly is a part of me at this point. To be able to help create one of the most evil villains in all of daytime has been a wonderful challenge. Sheila is a challenge I welcome.
You are one of the best actresses out there. What will you do after B&B?
Kimberlin Brown: Well, hopefully, I’ll be on B&B for a long time to come. If they put me on a backburner for a while due to circumstances I’d love to stay within the CBS family. Perhaps guest star on some primetime shows.
How much time do you spend rehearsing your lines prior to running through it at the studio?
Kimberlin Brown: For me, there’s no such thing as rehearsing too much. I will run my lines repeatedly out loud by myself and then, rehearse hopefully with the actor I’m working with that day. Usually in our dressing room or in the hair room before we work.
How long is your contract right now on B&B? Hopefully, a long time?
Kimberlin Brown: I signed a long-term deal, but our contracts are written so that the show has an option on us every 3 to 6 months.
How many hours a week do you work on set?
Kimberlin Brown: It really depends on how many shows I’m in that week. Of late, I have been working incredibly long days repeatedly. That means I can be on set or at the studio I should say with a 6:30 AM call time for hair and makeup 9 o’clock shoot schedule on set, and I have been in scenes that are up at the beginning of the day and run throughout the end of the day. One of the [most recent] shows I taped was in all but three scenes for the day.
Do you think Sheila and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) will ever cross paths again?
Kimberlin Brown: I think it would be a shame if their paths didn’t cross again. :-).
