Zoe’s getting a sister on The Bold and the Beautiful. The show has cast actress Diamond White, known for her recurring role on Empire, to play Paris Buckingham.
The Bold and the Beautiful Casting News
Deadline broke the news that White will tape her first episode on Friday, September 18, and will debut on screen on Friday, November 2.
White played the part of Lala on Empire. She’s also known for her recurring role on Dear White People (Netflix) and had a run on Fresh off the Boat. She voices the character of Sofia the First on The Lion Guard.
BB has excelled at telling stories among siblings. From the show’s early days, which featured conflict between Ridge (then, Ronn Moss; now, Thorsten Kaye) and Thorne (Clayton Norcross) over Caroline (Joanna Johnson) to today’s more recent tension between Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie (Heather Tom) over Brooke kissing Bill (Don Diamont), characters who have familial ties make for great drama.
Zoe (Kiara Barnes) and Paris’s dad Reese (Wayne Brady) played a key role in the show’s big umbrella story involving baby Beth. Reese told Hope (Annika Noelle) that her and Liam’s (Scott Clifton) baby had died. In reality, he stole the baby and switched her with another infant, who did die at birth.
Slowly, characters on the canvas learned the truth. Zoe was afraid to come forward for fear of the repercussions involving her father. Menacing looks from Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) didn’t exactly encourage Zoe to come clean, either. Eventually, the truth came out. Zoe and others, who knew what had happened but chose not to come forward, had to deal with the fallout.
Thomas manipulated Zoe. He claimed to love her and got her to the altar, hoping that Hope would object and marry Thomas herself. That plan backfired. Thomas was exposed. Lately, Zoe has been developing a relationship with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Stay tuned to see how Paris’s arrival affects the storylines! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
