Eric’s (John McCook) heart is full of love for his bride, but breaks when his family doesn’t show up for his big day. To make things worse, Quinn’s (Rena Sofer) only kin steps back too. The empty room hits them both hard, but they refuse to let that get in their way.
There will be vows, there will be promises of devotion, and a minister will announce Eric and Quinn man and wife. Who needs a room full of witnesses anyway? All they really need is each other.

To make Quinn’s place in the family crystal clear, Eric shocks his wife with a moving gesture. He reveals a portrait he had commissioned to hang above the fireplace. She is the family matriarch now and deserves her place in the spotlight. Talk about a bombshell play.
Avoiding the Inevitable
Meanwhile, the family huddles in the main office plotting their next moves. Thorne (then-Winsor Harmon) has second thoughts about staying away but Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hold down the fort. No one is going anywhere. They need to make it clear no one supports this travesty.
Things take quite a turn when Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) storms into the office and lets them all have it. She unleashes on each and every person standing in the room and scolds them for acting like children.
