The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Monday, June 22, 2020 begins Emmy winners week with a look back to the storyline that changed Liam’s life. It’s a rewind to September 1, 2010, when Liam found out his father was Dollar Bill Spencer.
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoiler Highlights
The DNA results are in and Liam (Scott Clifton) is shocked (and disappointed, quite frankly) to learn he’s a Spencer. How could this be? Liam is loving, sweet, and kind, and Bill goes for the throat every single time. The apple fell far, far from the tree this time and Liam couldn’t be more unhappy about the results.
Bill Isn’t Happy
To be fair, Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) isn’t exactly pleased either. He’s not the fatherly type, never mind learning he’s a dad to a fully grown man. The only upside is he has an heir and plans to use that to his advantage. He has money, he has power, and he’s sure Liam will eventually want to have both those things too. What man wouldn’t?

The Ladies Stand By Their Men
Spoilers show Katie (Heather Tom) and Hope (then-Kim Matula) take things into their own hands and try to bring peace between father and son. It’s a game-changing reveal and they think these two should make the most of it. They have a lot of time to make up and should move forward instead of looking back.
A Celebration Of Sorts
Meanwhile, the Forresters celebrate when they learn Liam doesn’t belong to Thorne (then-Winsor Harmon). Stephanie (Susan Flannery) is more than thrilled to not have that mess to clean up. A secret child would cause quite a scandal and that’s something their company simply doesn’t need.
Thorne Mourns His Loss
As for Thorne, he will not feel the same way as his family. He’s actually quite upset, and not just for himself. Imagine searching for your dad all these years and getting a villain instead of a good guy? His heart goes out to the young man as he licks his own wounds and suffers his own disappointment.
