The Bold and the Beautiful’s Deacon Sharpe has been back on the canvas since last fall and he’s been working overtime to try to prove to Hope Logan Spencer, Brooke Logan Forrester, and everyone else that he’s redeemed. So far, he’s done a good job of showing improvement!
The Bold and the Beautiful Bad Boy Makes Good
While it may be good for Deacon (Sean Kanan) that he’s turning his life around, the question remains is it good for daytime drama? Soap Hub asked viewers if a reformed Deacon is the right thing for the show’s storylines.
Hope For Deacon Sharpe’s Future
The majority of you, 49%, say that yes, it’s a very good thing that Deacon is improving. He’s distanced himself from Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), which is a good thing given that the naughty nurse is plying Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) with alcohol! Deacon’s taken an honest job at Il Giardino and has, thus far, done right by his daughter Hope (Annika Noelle). You want to see how far Deacon can go on the road to redemption. He might make it to the finish line!
Unachievable Bold and the Beautiful Goals
Many of you, nearly 42%, think it’s a moot point as to whether or not Deacon’s going to be a good guy or not. You simply don’t think he’ll be able to achieve it. It’s one thing to want to have a relationship with Hope but Deacon’s been purposely hanging around Brooke when she’s alone.
He has to know that that’s not going to sit well with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). His presence will ultimately hurt Brooke’s marriage. If he truly wanted to turn over a new leaf, he’d leave Brooke alone but he can’t seem to do that.
Bad Is Best
Deacon’s whole appeal is that he lives on the edge. Sure, he’s vulnerable, caring, and passionate. But about 9% of you point out, rightfully so, that Deacon needs to stay being the bad boy he is so that he can continue to drive story and entertain viewers.
