The Bold and the Beautiful has its diehard couples but the half-hour soap opera also tries out new duos onscreen to see if there’s chemistry. Clearly, there are sparks between Carter and Katie as evidenced by their scenes together.

Team “Karter”
The majority of you, nearly 64%, say that yes, you’d like to see Carter pursue Katie (Heather Tom), and then, the two of them can have a happy romance and life together. They’ve both been burned in love. Recently, Carter’s lost both Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), who was attracted to Zende (Delon de Metz), and also, Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer), who went back to her husband Eric (John McCook).
Katie has been burned mostly by one man — Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) — but he’s a repeat offender. To make matters worse, Bill locked lips with Katie’s sister Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Both Carter and Katie want loyalty and are capable of being loyal. It’s a no-brainer to put them together. Sure, they’ll need conflict but it doesn’t have to come in the form of a romantic foil.

No Conflict Is Conflict on The Bold and the Beautiful
Nearly 26% of you don’t want Carter and Katie to connect because you fear they won’t have enough going on to sustain a story. While their histories would make infidelity unlikely, there are plenty of issues they could combat to keep them on the front burner. What if Carter wants kids but Katie, due to her medical issues, isn’t able to carry a baby to term? What if Carter gets bounced from Forrester Creations because of his affair with Quinn? There’s lots of story for these two.
Triangles Are Us
In the past, Carter’s been odd-man-out in his quest for love, losing out to other men. The rest of you, about 10%, say that you’d like to see Carter pursue Katie if Quinn is suddenly available. Then, Carter will be the one who realizes what it’s like to be torn between two important people. He’d be able to appreciate the position Quinn and Zoe were in, once he’s the one having to decide which woman to choose.
