On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Wyatt Spencer joined Liam in worrying about the high expectations Bill had for him and Katie.

Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights

In addition, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) whined to Finn (Tanner Novlan) about his biological mother, while opposite this, said villainous tried to work her charms on Jack (Ted King). Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.

Wyatt Spencer Silently Ponders His Father’s Plans

With Liam (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks) — AKA Danny Downer and his brother Dirk — looking at him with abject concern, Bill (Don Diamont) explained that no, Katie (Heather Tom) hadn’t stayed for lunch, but that he hasn’t expected her to just move in right away and have things go back to the way they were before — but he is sure that that day isn’t too far off.

When a barrage of questions was put to him, Bill shared that he thought Katie had been moved by his pleas and the stroll down Memory Lane. But what of Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) the boys wondered. To that, Bill copped to having “a battle” ahead of him, but he wasn’t deterred.

Opposite this, Katie confided in Carter that Bill had tried to kiss her but she hadn’t let him “because I didn’t want to. Because of you. Because of us.”

Carter cooed that he loved the word “us,” and Katie concurred. Then she made sure to show and tell Carter what he really means to her.

B&B Recap: Mothers Daze

Elsewhere, the cliff house to be precise, Finn (Tanner Novlan) inquired as to how Steffy’s visit with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) went.

Steffy admitted that she felt better — much better — after having followed through, but Finn still huffed over her going it alone. Steffy, however, pointed out that Sheila no longer has any power over them. She can’t hurt them ever again.

The couple’s talk turned to Finn’s convo with Li (Naomi Matsuda), Li’s shock over Steffy’s adventure, and Li’s crumbling marriage to Jack (Ted King). Finn bemoaned the state of his parents’ affairs [pun intended] and Jack’s lies of omission. And not for nothing, but those lies have got Finn interested in learning just how close his dad and Sheila were back in the day. Steffy assured her hubby that she would be with him every step of the way.

Bold and Beautiful Recap: Old Times

Down at the local lockup, Sheila wondered if Jack had been intrigued by her “suggestive emails,” and that’s why he’d honored her request for a visit. Jack swore that it wasn’t.

Instead, he insisted that he’d merely come to tell her in person to leave him alone, that he wants nothing to do with her. He wants her to so stop writing and stop sending emails. He wants nothing more to do with her.

Sheila groused that Jack was her only hope and that she just couldn’t accept that he didn’t want to see her anymore. She can see the loneliness in his eyes. Sheila granted Jack that it’s been hard on him, the aftermath of their affair being made public. “My marriage is basically dead. And my relationship with Finn is not the same as it was,” explained Jack.

Sheila offered her “sorrys” but they weren’t appreciated — especially in light of her having shot Finn. Sheila repeated the “it was all an accident” line and began to prey on Jack’s vulnerabilities. His loneliness…his estrangements from Finn and Li.

Sheila suggested that the next time he’s feeling down, Jack should remember the night Finn was conceived and then consider all that they could have had had they stayed together and all they have if they right that past wrong.

“Life has turned into a very lonely, shallow existence for both of us. And yet here we are, yet again, face-to-face. We can make something good out of this. We had that magic before Jack. We can do it again.”

But Jack wasn’t biting. “Not on your life!” And he’ll never be back to see her again. NEVER!
