Tensions rose at the main office as Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) ranted about Deacon (Sean Kanan). More specifically, Hope Logan Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) and Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) willingness to forgive, forget, and include him in their lives. What are they thinking? Don’t they understand the problems this is causing?
B&B Recap: Opposite Sides
As for the Logans, they were at the cabin talking things through. Hope was adamant about standing by her father and Deacon made a solemn promise to not let them down again. He was ready to prove himself. Brooke was all for letting him try but warned Deacon had an uphill battle to climb.
By the time Liam came home, Hope was alone and he took the opportunity to voice his concerns. He knows she loves her dad but love isn’t always enough. Deacon is a danger. Hope stopped him. She supports his relationship with Bill and expects the same respect. She knows his dad and Liam aren’t going to change her mind.

Over at the main house, Ridge and Brooke got into a heated discussion about her standing by her ex. Ridge was floored by her devotion to Deacon and outright asked if it was because she was still holding onto feelings for him. Brooke looked shocked and offended.

Meanwhile, failed lunch plans with Katie Logan (Heather Tom) led to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) taking Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) out for a bite to eat. He was pretty down about Katie having to stay back to host a video chat between Bill and Will and wondered if he was cursed with picking the wrong women. Paris assured him he’s quite the catch. Carter was flattered. She’s a catch too, he said.
