The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, September 21, 2021, features Eric Forrester laying down ground rules for his wife’s lover. He is on board with Carter Walton borrowing Quinn Fuller Forrester for a few hours here and there with a couple of conditions.

It was a strange day for Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). He was summoned to the mansion for a serious talk with the boss. Eric (John McCook) gave Carter full permission to be with his wife but remember she’s MY wife, not YOUR wife.
He made it clear Carter was to stay in his lane and play the role of loverboy and not husband. Oh, and no one can know – especially Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). The entire conversation was awkward and Carter couldn’t wait to bolt (and we can’t blame him).
B&B Recap: Friends Talk
Over in the design office, Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) pushed and prodded her best friend. Quinn was glowing and Shauna wanted to know why. Was Eric’s issue no longer an issue? No. But, he formulated a solution, Quinn said. Boy, was Shauna shocked to hear what that solution was. She was even more stunned to hear all the details and Eric’s openness in the aftermath of Quinn and Carter’s full encounter.

No sooner did Shauna leave than Carter came in. They shut and locked the door (yep, right in the office because why not get caught), and talked about last night. They professed their love, their desire, and how they couldn’t wait to be together again. Then, they kissed.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Judgy Busybodies
Across the hall, it was just another day of the Logan ladies being baffled a woman would ever leave her house without her husband. They ranted about Quinn’s daring to have any sort of life outside of her marriage.
Katie Logan (Heather Tom) admitted Eric claimed to be all good about his wife having a few hours to herself but Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) did not like that one little bit. A woman’s place (well, Quinn’s anyway) is in her home or at work, nowhere else. Not without a man on her arm.
