The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, October 1, 2021, features Eric Forrester putting his son in his place once and for all. Ridge Forrester got quite an earful as Eric’s temper reached a boiling point.

In the main office, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) didn’t hide her disgust as Katie Logan (Heather Tom) broke down what Eric (John McCook) told her. Yes, Quinn (Rena Sofer) is sleeping with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). And yes, she has her husband’s permission and blessing. The sisters agreed it was all too much. Why be open when you can just straight up cheat instead?
B&B Recap: Eric Lost It
Meanwhile, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) tried to convince his dad to throw Quinn out. He said he should just pack her bags, she shouldn’t be there! He was convinced the open marriage was Quinn’s idea and hollered at her to get out. Quinn did not budge, though, nor did Eric want her to.
Eric reached his breaking point and laid into Ridge. None of this was Ridge’s business and it was time for him to back off! Enough was enough. Eric made it clear the affair WAS his idea and spelled out the reason why.

Then, Eric had a shocking meltdown about all the people he loved and lost and all the family who moved away. This house is too quiet without Quinn, he moaned. He was not going to be lonely for the rest of his life.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Monster Mom
All the while, Finn (Tanner Novlan) hung out with Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle). They talked, they bonded, and they got to know each other. Their good time came to a quick end, though, when Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) texted her son.
Sheila continued begging Finn for attention and apologizing for the past. Finn was astounded. He opened up to Hope about his feelings. He understood Steffy’s stance but wished he could get to know his birth mother. Too bad she’s a monster, huh?
