Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) downed drink after drink while trying to ignore Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and chat up the pretty ladies at the bar. The more he struck out, the more attentive Sheila became. She needed him for her plan and Sheila always get what she wants. Eventually, it worked and Deacon stopped fighting.

Over at the cottage, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) tried to talk sense into Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle). Her father is a dangerous and devious man and she needs to stay away.

Brooke was appalled Deacon had the audacity to show up in the first place. Hope tried to reason with her mother. She, herself, invited Deacon into her little family. Hope wanted a chance to get to know him and bring him into her fold. Brooke gently lost her cool and put her foot down. Deacon has no place here. Liam agreed. He would not co-sign his wife putting their family at risk.

Meanwhile, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) stopped by the cliff house to update Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) on Deacon’s return. She felt for Hope but prayed she would see the light. Her marriage barely survived Sheila and she couldn’t imagine Hope letting Deacon ruin her marriage with Liam. Take about parallel lives!
