On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Hope Logan was grounded [her flight to be more specific] and very nearly gave into a flight of fancy.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
In addition, Liam (Scott Clifton) bemoaned the fact that no one ever listens to his concerns about Hope (Annika Noelle) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Bold and the Beautiful: Hope Logan Get Awfully Close To Thomas
In San Franciso, Hope and Thomas’s meeting with the international buyers was a qualified success. After much celebrating, Hope texted Liam, let him know the good news, and promised that she and Thomas would soon be on their way home. But that was not to be.
No sooner had Hope sent that assuring message than the pilot was calling to inform her that, owing to mechanical issues, they might not be able to up wheels that night.

Hope then phoned Liam with the update…and he was less than pleased. What’s worse, the one and only flight from San Francisco to L.A. was fully booked.
Later, having decided to accept the situation, Hope agreed to join Thomas in indulging in some room service — rabbit food for her [make that a huge Salade niçoise], an actual meal for him.
The duo toasted their earlier success and their continued collaboration. Talk then turned, as it is wont to do lately, about the specter that is Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) less-than-savory past and how it hangs over Hope day in and day out.
“I’m my own person. I’m not my mom. And her with her stupid excuse of following her heart…really she just leaves a trail of devastation behind her. I never wanted to be like that. My principals, and my morals, they matter to me.”
Thomas assured Hope that she was the most principled and moral and incredible person that he’s ever met. In fact, she’s a far cry from Brooke. But not really. Soon Hope and Thomas were embracing and then staring longingly into each other’s eyes.
B&B Recap: Credit Where It’s Due
Having been with Liam when he received the call about Hope and Thomas’s predicament — curses on Kelly for needing that bracelet that matches so perfectly with Bailey’s! — Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) stuck around to listen to Liam go on and on about he never wanted his wife and Thomas to go to SanFran in the first place and how he wouldn’t put it past Thomas to take advantage of the situation.
Steffy suggested that Liam might want to give Thomas the benefit of the doubt, pointing out that it would save him some grief in the long run — but Liam wasn’t about to accept that. He’s seen Thomas backslide into villainy one too many times.
Steffy again tried to reassure Liam that he had nothing to worry about where Hope and Thomas were concerned but when he pushed, she couldn’t help but pointedly declare that Thomas’s feelings are in check and not something that needed to be worried about.
