On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Bill Spencer inadvertently sends Sheila sailing over his balcony. Funny how that’s the second femme to suffer such a fate.

Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights

In addition, Booke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie (Heather Tom) picked up their conversation from the previous episode and hammered some points home. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.

Bill Spencer Lets Sheila Have It

Try as he might, Bill (Don Diamont) couldn’t contain his utter glee at having just gotten Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) to admit to a count of murder one. Eavesdroppers — eyedroppers? — Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Agent Chen (Brian Yang) were equally thrilled.

But Bill still had a part to play. Despite supposedly being mobilized hours earlier, the FBI raid team isn’t quite ready to storm the manse and subdue Sheila. Therefore, Bill has got to keep her sweet and make her stay put. Easy peasy.

After telling Sheila that he’d “been waiting for this moment for a long time” — then assuring her that the “this” was her finally opening up to him — Bill swore that couldn’t care less what sins she committed in the past. “All that matters is that you finally said it.”

What’s more, Bill promised Sheila that he was going to give her the future that she “so richly deserves.”

For her part, Sheila couldn’t see the writing on the wall. Her ability to read between the lines failed her. Instead, she blabbered on about what the future had in store for her and Bill and even wondered if Bill’s family might one day accept their marriage.

Finally hitting his limit, Bill excused himself to touch base with his comrades…but who should overhear him, enthusing that “We got her. We finally got her,” but the “her” in question?

His back now against the wall, Bill revealed the truth to Sheila — a sordid plan to get her confession on tape and all. It was, Bill dubbed, “the acting challenge of a lifetime.” Sheila raged against her betrayer, saying that it was he who was the true monster. After all, look how he’d led her on. The lengths to which he had gone.

Suddenly, Sheila made a run at Bill, murder blazing behind her eyes. A brief struggle ensued. The two fighters skidded out onto the terrace, and Sheila tumbled over the structure’s railing!

B&B Recap: Cause For Concern

At Forrester Creations, loaded salads sat before Brooke and Katie, but it was Bill and his uncharacteristic actions that were actually on the menu.

Kaite bemoaned that she had no idea how to broach the goings on with Bill with wee Will. So far, she’s been keeping things as vague as possible. If only she, Brooke, anybody could figure out why Sheila is suddenly so important to Bill.

Enter Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) to join the ladies in their pondering. Is it the whole “playing with fire” thing that’s got Bill backing Sheila? Could it be penance for hurting Katie and Brooke? Whatever the case may be, one thing is clear. To quote Katie, “The longer this goes on, the more danger we’re all in. Especially Bill.”

After Carter took his leave of the ladies, Brooke inquired as to whether or not it bothered him to see Katie so concerned about her ex. Katie didn’t think so. In fact, Carter has been her rock. So supportive, so understanding. “I’ve really needed it to because this whole situation with Bill and Sheila has made me feel a little crazy.”

Brooke offered that Bill was the crazy one, and Katie countered that there must be something that they were all missing. “The man that I fell in love with, the father of my son wouldn’t do something like this. I just have to believe that the real Bill is in there somewhere…waiting to come out.”
