The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, June 23, 2023, featured a plethora of smooches — a few between couples who have no business doing so.

In addition, Taylor (Krista Allen) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) gaggled and gossiped, and the soap continued to present a pleasing visual travelogue of all things Rome. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Sights To Behold
Try as he might, Liam (Scott Clifton) just couldn’t fathom the sight before him. Hope (Annika Noelle) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) KISSING?! And not only that, but it was his wife who initiated the liplock. And not just one, but she pulled Thomas in for another and then clung to him for a further series.
Thoroughly disgusted, Liam took off running for anyplace that wasn’t there. Meanwhile, Hope and Thomas finally parted and decided to continue on their merry way. They even held hands on their walk for good measure. The two eventually stopped for a spell at a lovely café where Hope became the star attraction. After taking photos with some adoring fans, Hope suggested to Thomas that they continue on as they’ve been going, and he happily agreed.

In the meantime, Liam chanced upon Steffy and relayed to her the dreadful news that was his discovery of Hope in Thomas’s arms. What’s more, Steffy had been right all along. It was Hope that he should have been concerned about. She was the one who leaned in for the kiss.
Liam groused how the sight was the one thing that he can never unsee — his wife in the arms of his nemesis. He can take a lot. So much. But not that. After that spectacle, his marriage may be over. In fact, he’s sure that his marriage is over.
Steffy enveloped Liam in her arms and wept with him. He doesn’t deserve this. He really doesn’t. Seconds later, Liam whispered he made a mistake and leaned in for a kiss with Steffy. Taken aback, Steffy hesitated for but a moment before pulling away. Both exes stood staring dumbfounded.
B&B Recap: That’s Amore
Elsewhere, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) stood before the Aventine Keyhole frozen in place. Spellbound. Through the [supposedly] magic keyhole he’d spied “the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen.” BROOKE!
With no time to spare, Ridge hightailed it to the other side of the wall — bypassing some church security along the way — and to Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) side.
Brooke joked that she’d gotten lost, as is her wont. Ridge in turn declared that he’d been lost, but not anymore. Thanks to the keyhole, he’d seen everything — his future, he’d seen her, his Logan. Yes, Logan. Will she be his Logan forever? Yes, yes of course!
Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Small Talk
Back in Los Angeles, a frazzled [though recuperating] Finn thanked Taylor for helping him with the kids earlier that morning. What a help she’d been. When the subject of Steffy’s check-in was broached, Taylor wondered if her daughter had mentioned any tidbits. Finn deduced that she was not so subtly asking about Brooke and Ridge; Taylor confessed that she was.
Subsequently, the two discussed Taylor’s resolve to not fall down a rabbit hole of insecurity and her disappointment in her estrangement from Brooke. Finn then confided that he’d convinced Liam to surprise Hope in Rome [which is going swimmingly].
