In The Bold and the Beautiful recap for October 10, 2023, Deacon puts Hope’s love for him to the ultimate test.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
In addition, Luna opens up to RJ (but ever so slightly), and Li tears into Finn. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
B&B Recap: Pressing Engagement
Try as she might, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) couldn’t help but worry. Things had gone so badly with Finn (Tanner Novlan), so was Deacon (Sean Kanan) sure that he wanted to let Hope (Annika Noelle) in on their secret? Is he sure that his daughter will respond positively? And on the off chance that Hope doesn’t, is he sure that he won’t resent her (Sheila) for the rest of time? Sure, he was sure.
Sheila worried that it was wishful thinking on her lover’s part, but Deacon insisted that wasn’t the case. He doesn’t wish on stars. He gets things done, he works for what he wants — and they’ll work together to get Hope on their side. They’ve beaten the odds before, and they’ll do it again.

Hope knocked on his door. Deacon told Sheila to hide in the bathroom momentarily, and he let his daughter in. While a surprised Hope listened, Deacon admitted to seeing someone and keeping the relationship on the down low. Sheila walked in, and Hope went ballistic.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: A Friend In Need
At Forrester Creations, RJ (Joshua Hoffman) attempted to bring Luna (Lisa Yamada) out of her funk by sharing with her the theories about her identity. Number one, she’s a princess in hiding. Number two, she’s an international spy. Whatever her story, she’s a beautiful mystery, and he can’t wait to learn more about her.
Luna confessed that she’s come to trust RJ implicitly, but before she could continue, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) interrupted to complain about the money Eric (John McCook) is spending on his line and praise RJ as the next top-tier designer.
When the two men left to discuss money matters further, Luna took another call from her mother. Like before, Poppy (Romy Park) predicted gloom and doom, and Li (Naomi Matsuda) would see to it that Luna’s dreams were never realized.
Once RJ returned, he provided teary-eyed Luna a shoulder to cry on and brightened her up by claiming she had a promising future at the company.
B&B Recap: Tough Love
Having sent Hope scurrying to Deacon’s abode, Finn (Tanner Novlan) remained behind to take a work call. (RUDE!) He was soon joined by Li, who admitted to being there in the hopes of convincing Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to convince Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to come home.
When Li learned that Finn had swung by to talk to Hope, she took him to task. “You know the history between Steffy and Hope, right? Do you want to risk doing something else to push your wife away?”
Returning to her search for Ridge, Li traveled across the hall and found Luna pouring over RJ’s latest sketch. To say she wasn’t pleased to see her niece would be an understatement.
