The B&B recap for Tuesday, November 29, 2022, sees the spotlight briefly shifting — and we do mean briefly — to another member of the Logan family.

B&B Recap Highlights

In this episode, Kaite Logan (Heather Tom) admits that her head has been turned by a man well-known to her sisters, and for the first time in a very long time it’s a man that neither Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) nor Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) has slept with…yet. Elsewhere, Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) subterfuge got several wedding guests goats, and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) put the ultimate waffler’s loyalty to the ultimate test. Now, let’s take a deeper look into what went on.

Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Object Of Affection

Believe it or not — and they are many out there who won’t — Brooke doesn’t mind someone in her general vicinity being happy at the same time that she’s miserable. She loves Katie and Donna, and she thinks that they deserve all the love in world — and thanks to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), Katie just might get it.

Carter, you see, not only championed Katie to her clingy, borderline obsessed ex-husband Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), but he swore that he’d be committed only to her, that he’d always be true to her, and that he’d forever and always prioritize her happiness. What woman wouldn’t want that?

Also, slow your roll, Donna. Katie and Carter are close, but they aren’t that close…not yet anyway. There’s always that possibility, however.

Now back to Brooke, isn’t it awful how Katie is happy and Booke isn’t? Isn’t it awful that the love of Brooke’s life is being so callous? Cheer up, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is Brooke’s soulmate, her destiny, they’re written in the stars. It’ll all work out for Brooke…and maybe Carter and Katie too, but this is really all about Brooke.

B&B Recap: Put Up Or Shut Up

Over at the Forrester manse, Ridge lit into Thomas something fierce. His son isn’t a changed man. He’s a liar. He lies every time that he opens his damn mouth! What’s worse, he seems proud of himself. Thank G-d for Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). At least Taylor raised one of their kids right.

What do you think? Post a comment!

Speaking of Taylor…despite not being the sharpest knife in the cutlery drawer, Ridge managed to deduce from her facial expression, body language, and lack of vocal opinion that she knew all about Thomas’s scheme and that she intended to marry him under false pretenses. (Wonders apparently will never cease.)

Taylor copped to her trespass, but then she wondered aloud why it mattered. After all, hasn’t Ridge been telling her for weeks now (about three as best as we can tell) that he was marrying her because he loved her and only her and most decidedly not because Brooke did something that made him angry? Wasn’t that the case? Huh? Huh?! Isn’t he going to go ahead with the wedding anyhow because he loves her and only her? Huh? Huh?!

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Why Buy The Cow…

Thanks to a little detective work, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) knows Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) secret — well, one of her many secrets anyway; the woman is chalk full of them, don’t ya know — she’s been donning her mask and red wig and hitting the town while he’s slaving away at the restaurant. He doesn’t approve, not one little.

Tough, declares Sheila. She’s being uber careful, plus she’s bought a hatbox full of wigs that she intends to put to good use. Nobody will ever figure out that it’s her.

And while they’re on the subject of secrets, Sheila’s rumbled one of Deacon’s: he’s still desperate to reunite with Brooke, even though he’s got Sheila’s smokin’ behind at his beck and call. What’s all that about?

B&B Recap: Opinions. Everybody’s Got ‘Em

Like Ridge before him, Eric Forrester (John McCook) is so, so angry at Thomas. In fact, he’s beyond furious. How could his grandson be so cruel to both Eric’s favorite daughter-in-law and ex-wife? It’s inconceivable!

Carter agrees, and his heart goes out to bestie Ridge. He’s never seen him so cross or so disillusioned with someone before. Thank G-d for Steffy, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) declares. It must have been so hard for her to tell truth — apparently, he’s been informed of how estranged his wife is from the concept.
