The B&B recap for Monday, November 28, 2022, sees a long-held, much flashbacked to secret finally being exposed to all the world…or at least the five people gathered in Eric Forrester’s living room who weren’t in the know.

B&B Recap Highlights

In this episode, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) spoke an inconvenient truth that had her father and brother seeing red and reduced her mother to a puddle of tears — all metaphorically speaking, of course. Elsewhere, the Logans kept up the pretext that they’re one big happy family rather than siblings and children who possess seething resentments. Let’s take a deeper look into what went on.

Bold and the Beautiful: Ready or Not?

Is Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) ready to get the show on the road? That’s what Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and everyone else awaiting the start of the wedding wanted to know…especially Steffy and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), who both had a vested interest in Taylor admitting that, no, no, she wasn’t ready because she had something important to tell her would-be groom.

And Taylor did indeed have something to say — she’s sorry for keeping everyone waiting, but it is a bride’s prerogative. Also, how could they blame her? It’s been a whirlwind week. One minute Ridge was happily married to Brooke Logan No-Longer-Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), and the next, he was proposing to love Taylor forever and ever, and now his marriage has been annulled, and they’re standing there ready to pledge themselves to one another — and after Taylor had given up all hope.

So yes, Taylor is ready to get the show on the road. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), you may begin officiating anytime now.

B&B Recap: Center Of The Universe

Ever the representative of the polite southern belle, Lucy Whats-Her-Last-Name (Linda Purl) took her leave of Stephen Logan (Patrick Duffy) and his girls, but not before swearing up and down that she had a lovely time — who wouldn’t want to listen her lover’s grown daughter mourn her broken home? — and insisted that they’d all have to get together again real soon.

The femme Logans really, really like Lucy and think that she’s good for their dad…which is good news because Stephen really, really likes Lucy. But enough about him and her — they should talk more about Brooke.

Poor, poor Brooke, she who’s vacillating between hurt, heartbreak, and confusion. Why, oh why, did Ridge leave her? Why, oh why, won’t he tell her what sin she committed? Why, oh why, won’t he walk through the door, tell her that he made a mistake and that she was the only woman for him?

And why, oh why, does Katie Logan (Heather Tom) keep insisting on feeding her? There is an old saying about food being good for the soul, but Brooke isn’t concerned about her soul — she’s worried about her destiny. No nibble is going to help with that!

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Once More, With Feeling

Carter didn’t have much planned, and how could they blame him, given the whirlwind turnaround? What he did know — thanks to some talks with his bestest best friend — is that Taylor is her loved ones’ compass, their North Star.

And unlike she who will not be named, Ridge doesn’t have to question Taylor’s integrity or her sense of right and wrong. She’s honest and loyal to a fault. Also, she’s beautiful and funny. Those are positives too.

Once the mush was concluded, Carter asked the one question that should never be proffered during a wedding on a soap opera: Does anyone object? Silence. Crickets. Guilty glances were exchanged between Steffy and Douglas. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) glowered.

Finally, despite herself, Steffy speaks. SHE objects! Not to the wedding, mind you, she very much wants that to continue on — surely all that browbeating won’t be for naught — but she desperately needs everybody to be on the same page. And that’s where Douglas comes in handy.

B&B Recap: The Truth Outs

With his smartphone in hand, Douglas rose and played for all the call that Brooke supposedly made to Child Protective Services. Then, he played the unedited version…the version where Thomas’s voice was heard loud and clear.

How could Thomas do this, Ridge demanded to know. Hadn’t he changed?! Wasn’t he a better man?! Better men don’t ruin their father’s marriage! What is to be done now?!
