In The Bold and the Beautiful recap for September 27, 2023, Deacon decides to go whole hog and make a life with Sheila — the consequences be damned.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
In addition, RJ finds himself stuck between a rock and his hard-headed pops. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
B&B Recap: Against All Odds
Deacon (Sean Kanan) could but stand around and listen to Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) profusely thank him for intervening where her court case was concerned — as if he’d want to be anywhere else.
Sheila reiterated her previously stated goal — and that, of course, is to become a significant part of her son and grandson’s lives — then seductively added that she was just as passionately devoted and committed to hanging around Deacon as well — and that pleased Deacon to no end.

The two moved to the nearby couch, where they rehashed matters, and Sheila concluded that Deacon had changed her. Deacon, for his part, insisted that she’d changed him as well. For the better? “The jury’s still out.”
Sheila remembered how she and Deacon had decided to end things between them and agreed that it was for the best. She didn’t want to see him risk his relationship with Hope (Annika Noelle), jeopardize his owning of Il Giardino, Trattoria Rustica, or cost him the respect of his family.
Rising to leave, Sheila assured Deacon she wouldn’t be popping in anymore and told him to never forget her. But no sooner had Sheila made for the door than Deacon stopped her and declared that he’d been alone for far too long and he didn’t want to be alone anymore.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Co-conspirators
At the Forrester mansion, Donna (Jennifer Gareis) hammered home to RJ (Joshua Hoffman) the importance of not ratting out Eric’s (John McCook) medical malady and his continued investment in helping Eric realize his designs.
When RJ protested, Donna hissed that keeping Eric’s secret was helping him and that RJ serving as his hands was giving him the drive and purpose he so desperately needed. Eric MUST go out on top. He can’t be made to feel useless or that he’s a burden.
B&B Recap: Son Vs. Father Vs. Father
Meanwhile, at Forrester Creations, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) continued to bemoan Eric for making a demand of them. How dare he! Doesn’t he know what it will cost them in the long run?
Enter RJ to implore his father to give Eric the support he so desperately needs and so richly deserves. Ridge, of course, didn’t seem interested in giving the man who raised him and sacrificed for him a damn thing.
