For several years, Katie Logan has gotten along fine sharing custody of her son, Will, with his dad, Dollar Bill. It’s been a great arrangement while Bill has seemed sane, but now he does not.
Something has come over Bill (Don Diamont) now and Katie (Heather Tom) can’t believe that he’s convinced himself that he is in love with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) for some reason. If Bill is going to go this route in his life, should he really have so much access to his young son?
A small 5% of you think Katie should focus on more important things like her new romance with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). She cannot win this fight with Bill so she may as well not try. He has not yet demonstrated he would be a danger to his son and with Sheila off the hook legally, a judge might not see merit in Katie’s case. Instead, you think Katie should just leave well enough alone with her current custody arrangement.
Another 9% of you think that Katie might have a case, but she also might not pursue it. She has to think of Will’s feelings despite what Bill is doing with Sheila. He loves his dad and they share a very strong bond. Katie won’t want to do anything that can hurt that bond, so she needs to tread carefully if she does decide Will is better off with her on a more full-time basis — at least until Bill comes to his senses and maybe gets some help.
It doesn’t matter whether she can win the case or whether she damages Bill and Will’s bond, according to the final whopping 86% of you. Katie needs to protect her son from a sociopath like Sheila. She can’t allow him to be around Bill as long as he is acting so off and keeping this dangerous woman in his home. She has to seek full custody of Will or she may live to regret it.
