On The Bold and the Beautiful, Li Finnegan seemed to meet a watery death as Sheila Carter chased her car right off a bridge. And let’s not forget that her car was even on fire before she plunged into those supposedly cold waters.
The Bold and the Beautiful Polling
Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) certainly believes Li is dead and fans are apparently supposed to believe she is dead but is dead really ever dead on a soap? Could Li (Naomi Matsuda) have met her end when her storyline was really just beginning? That’s the question Soap Hub asked.
If Finn Is Alive…
In early April, B&B fans mourned poor John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and then learned that he wasn’t really dead. In fact, it was his mother Li keeping him alive in a hotel suite. By the time Sheila found them there, Finn was starting to wake and show signs of life.
So, if Li has superpowers to bring a man back who doctors declared brain dead, then surely she has super powers that can help her survive a car fire and plunge into the ocean, say 52% of you. Why not? We all thought Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) had perished in a vat of acid a few years ago, and a few days later, he was alive and well.
It’s Possible, Right?
While 43% of you are not sure that Li is alive, you see it as a possibility. However, you feel she will allow Sheila to believe she is dead to ensure she stays alive. She trusts that Sheila loves Finn enough to do right by him, so for her own sake she will stay hidden until she feels safe and until she can make sure Sheila pays for all she has done.
Of Course, She Is Dead
We know what we saw, say a final 5% of you. There is no way Li could have survived that accident, especially with her car on fire. You know Li is gone and wish she had been smart enough not to call the police about three feet away from Sheila with only a thin door between them.
