The Bold and the Beautiful — Eternal Hope
It’s a soap opera, so, of course, there’s hope for the estranged duo, once Eric (John McCook) has time to heal from Quinn’s (Rena Sofer) betrayal. After all, Eric’s the same guy who’s always championed Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) reconciliations with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), no matter how many times she’s strayed. So it’s feasible that he could forgive Quinn…eventually, or a huge twist could push him back to his wife a lot sooner.
B&B: What If…
There are a couple of things that could get Eric to take Quinn back into his home and heart. No matter how angry he is with his wife at the moment, Eric’s deep love for Quinn hasn’t simply vanished. So if a situation arose where she truly needed him, he’d likely be there in a heartbeat.
One such situation would be if Quinn was suddenly diagnosed with a dire illness, something that truly threatened her life. Being the strong independent woman she’s always been, Quinn would likely strive to face it alone. She might even forbid her family and friends to breathe a word of her condition to Eric.

However, once he figured things out, Eric’s love for Quinn would likely prevail. It would be the perfect excuse for him to move her back into their home, where he could make sure she received the ultimate medical care, while slowly reconnecting with her.
Bold and Beautiful: Family First
Family has always been number one to Eric. He’s a protector of all things Forrester. What if Quinn suddenly learned she was pregnant? Having had sex with both Eric and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) within the same few weeks, she wouldn’t be sure who the child’s father was. She’d have to orchestrate ways to get DNA samples from both men in order to facilitate a paternity test. With Shauna’s (Denise Richards) help, she’d likely get the job done.
Imagine Quinn’s joy if she were to learn Eric was the father of the baby she was carrying? Then imagine her sharing the news with Eric? The prospect of becoming a father again could change everything for the Forrester patriarch and be just the news he needed to welcome Quinn back into his life and give their marriage another go.
