During his days on both The Bold and the Beautiful and As the World Turns, Michael Swan played characters who had daughters. Now, the actor is welcoming a new addition, a granddaughter, to his real-life family.
Congratulations, Michael Swan
Swan posted on Instagram that he is now a proud grandfather! “I’m a happy Grampa!” Swan wrote. “So happy for Caitlin and Matt! Hiya Frankie!”
In his post, Swan shows off a photo of his new granddaughter (whose mother is his daughter Caitlin) and a post that read: “She couldn’t wait until day 100 and that is fine with us. Here’s Frankie Swan Cowley…Born 9:14 am on 1/12/20 weighing 6 lbs. 15 oz. and 19 inches long.”
On ATWT, Duncan had two daughters. The first was Beatrice (Ashley Crow), who viewers originally thought was Duncan’s sister, but then he revealed that Beatrice was actually his child. Part of Duncan’s wedding gift to Beatrice and Brian (Mark Pinter) was to reunite his daughter with her mother. Later, Duncan had another daughter, Bonnie (Napiera Danielle), with Jessica (Tamara Tunie).
On BB, Swan first debuted as Myles Fairchild, father to Kimberly (Ashley Tesoro), but then viewers learned that there was more to him than met the eye. Myles was, in reality, Adam Alexander, the father of Macy (Bobbie Eakes).
Swan would pop back up in Los Angeles and in Oakdale when his characters’ daughters needed him. He returned to BB after Macy presumably blew up in a tanker explosion. The actor reprised Duncan when Bonnie was aged and re-introduced to the canvas.
Soap Hub joins Swan’s friends and fans in congratulating him and his daughter and son-in-law on the arrival of Frankie. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
