While Ashley Jones is probably best known for playing Dr. Bridget Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, she has also played Parker on General Hospital, Megan Dennison on The Young and the Restless, as well as Daphne on True Blood.

In The Beginning
Jones was born on September 3 in Memphis, Tennessee. Her father, who was a minister, moved the family to Texas, when Jones was 5 years old, for a preaching job. She started working in commercials when she was young and began appearing in theater productions when she was 9.

First Series Regular Role
Jones’s first contract role was on The Young and the Restless as Megan Dennison. Jones was on the show for three years and received two Daytime Emmy Award nominations for her work.
Gold Medalist Connection
Jones is very close friends with an Olympic gold medal winner — figure skater Tara Lipinski. In fact, Lipinski appeared on The Young and the Restless as Jones’s character’s friend, Marine. Lipinski and Jones were also working on a screenplay together a few years ago.
Along with her work on television, Jones has appeared in various films over the years. She’s appeared in movies such as Our Son, The Matchmaker, Old School, Devil’s Prey, A Teacher’s Crime, and The Wedding Ringer.
Jones was married to Noah Nelson — who is the son of actor Craig T. Nelson — from 2002 to 2009. She also dated her The Bold and the Beautiful co-star Jack Wagner for a period of time. She married Joel Henricks in 2016, but they recently split in September 2019. She and Henricks have a 3-year-old son named Hayden together.
